Craigdews Hill

A summit in W Central Dumfries and Galloway, Craigdews Hill rises to 269m (882 feet) surrounded by the Galloway Forest, Craigdews Hill lies to the west of Craigdews, 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Newton Stewart. The crags here are popular with climbers, while the hill lies at the centre of a Wild Goat Park, where goats have been roaming since the 1970s. The Queen's Way (A712 road) and the Palnure Burn curve around its southern slopes.
