Trostrie Loch

The smaller of a pair of little lochs in S Dumfries and Galloway, Trostrie Loch is situated a half-mile (0.8 km) west southwest of Lochhill and 1½ miles (2.5 km) north of Twynholm. Extending to 1 ha (2.5 acres), Trostrie Loch receives a stream from Culcaigrie Loch to the north, while the Trostrie Lane drains the loch to the south, becoming the Spout Burn.
