Bogleshole Bridge


(Bogleshole Road Bridge)

A road bridge which crosses the River Clyde at Bogleshole Ford, between Glasgow City and South Lanarkshire, the Bogleshole Bridge is located a mile (1.7 km) north northwest of Cambuslang. Opened in 1986, it carries a minor road linking Carmyle with Eastfield. Designed by Strathclyde Regional Council and built by Raynesway Construction, it comprises a gently-arched main span with a concrete deck supported on steel-plate girders resting on concrete piers.
