One of the Red Cuillin in SE Skye (Highland Council Area), Beinn Dearg Mhor rises to 709m (2326 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of the head of Loch Slapin and 3 miles (5 km) west of Broadford. There is another Beinn Dearg Mhor located 5½ miles (9 km) to the northwest, on the eastern edge of the Black Cuillin.
