Priesthill & Darnley Railway Station


(Cnoc an t-Sagairt & Darnley)

A suburban railway station in Glasgow City, Priesthill & Darnley (referred to as Cnoc an t-Sagairt & Darnley in Gaelic) is situated on the Glasgow South Western Line, a half-mile (1 km) north northeast of Southpark Village. This station opened in 1990 and comprises two platforms connected by an underpass, and no buildings other than utilitarian passenger shelters.

Now operated by ScotRail, Priesthill & Darnley Railway Station is unstaffed and was used by 144,766 passengers per annum in 2016-17, a significant increase from 86,014 in 2009-10. It is preceded by Kennishead, a half-mile (1 km) to the east, and followed by Nitshill Railway Station, 3 miles (5 km) to the south.
