(Inch View Tunnel, Crying Hill Tunnel, Pettycur Tunnel)
A railway tunnel in S Fife which allows the East Coast Main Line to curve sharply north around Kinghorn Ness as it approaches the village Kinghorn. Built in 1846-7 on the Edinburgh & Northern Railway, the Kinghorn Tunnel is approached through deep cuttings, a quarter-mile (0.4 km) north of Pettycur and a similar distance southwest of Kinghorn. It was C-listed in 2000 and is sometimes referred to as Crying Hill, Inch View or Pettycur Tunnel.
