A southern district of Livingston in West Lothian, Bankton lies between Dedridge and Murieston, a half-mile (1 km) southeast of the town centre. The district takes its name from the Bankton Estate, with Bankton House dating from the early 19th C. Williamston Primary School is located here, while Livingston South Railway Station lies immediately to the south.
