A coniferous plantation forest in NE Dumfries and Galloway, Hunterheck Forest is centred on Hunterheck Hill, a mile (1.8 km) east of Moffat. It is contiguous with the Hillend Plantation to the west and Craigieburn Forest to the northeast.
