Forth Bridge Heritage Centre occupies the former waiting rooms of North Queensferry Railway Station, at the top of The Brae, a quarter-mile (0.4 km) north of the village centre. Leased by the North Queensferry Heritage Trust in 2012, the station buildings once comprised a ticket office, station master's office, and separate waiting rooms for ladies and gentlemen. Following a complete restoration, one room provides an exhibition on the Bridge with an eclectic collection of memorabilia, including models, photographs, bolts taken from the bridge, tins of the famous red paint used to coat its steelwork, souvenir china and artworks. There are also temporary exhibits, an art studio and a further room is available for meetings.
