A Graham peak of Perth and Kinross Council Area, Meall Dearg lies 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Aberfeldy to the east of Loch Fender and acts as the western slopes of Glen Cochill. It rises to a height of 690m (2263 feet) and its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey primary triangulation pillar installed in
1936 for the re-triangulation of Great Britain.
