Spidean a' Choire Leith
(Liathach)

Located northeast of Torridon, in the Ross and Cromarty district of Highland Council, this peak rises to a height of 1055m (3461 feet). Part of the 5 miles (8 km) in length Liathach ridge, it is composed of eight tops, with Spidean a' Choire Leith the highest. Composed of sandstone, its name originates from Gaelic and means "peak of the grey corrie", which is appropriate considering its size and the magnificent Coire na Caime which can be found on its northern flank.
