Portree, LochLooking west over Loch Portree

Loch Portree is a sea loch that is located on the northeastern coastline of the island of Skye in Highland Council Area. The principal town of Skye, Portree lies at the head of the loch while the mouth of the loch opens out into the Sound of Raasay, beyond which lies the island of Raasay.
