Glenquey Reservoir

A reservoir in the Ochil Hills which was opened by Dunfermline Corporation Water Works in 1909, Glenquey lies to the east of the summit of Innerdownie and southwest of Glendevon village. Along with the Glendevon Reservoirs, Glensherup Reservoir and Castlehill Reservoir, it is now operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water to West Fife and covers an area of 15.4 ha (38 acres). A hill track extends over the hills from Glendevon to Dollar and the outlet from the reservoir flows northwards into the River Devon.
