A flat area of moorland situated on the northern shore of the Solway Firth in Dumfries and Galloway Council Area, Nutberry Moss lies 3 miles (5 km) west of Gretna. Peat is harvested from the moss for the gardening industry, until recently supported by a narrow-gauge railway.
