Mine Hill

Mine Hill is located in South Lanarkshire, a half-mile (1 km) northeast of the settlement of Wanlockhead. It rises to a height of 510m (1673 feet) and takes it name from the lead-mining activity which took place on its flanks. The hill of Wanlock Dod lies on the opposite side of the B 797 road, a half-mile (1 km) to the northwest.
