Balisheac, an island in North Uist parish, Outer Hebrides, Inverness-shire, near the SW coast of North Uist island. It is about 3½ miles long.
Balleshare, an island in North Uist parish, Outer Hebrides, Inverness-shire, in the western part of the sound dividing North Uist island from Benhecula. It nearly blocks the W entrance of the sound; has an irregular outline and much indented shores; and measures about 10 miles in circumference.
