Broom, a lake on the mutual border of Moulin, Logierait, and Dowally parishes, Perthshire, 4¼ miles E of Pitlochry. Lying 1000 feet above sea-level, it has an extreme length and breadth of 5½ and 2 furlongs; and it is famed for its tront, as good and large as those of Loch Leven.
