Earl's Seat, a hill at the meeting-point of Killearn, Campsie, and Strathblane parishes, Stirlingshire. The highest of the Lennox range, it culminates, 3 miles N by E of Strathblane village, at an altitude of 1894 feet above sea-level. Southward it projects an offshoot called the Little Earl; on E and W it is flanked by two hills of 1345 and 1781 feet in height; and it sends off from its southern slopes Finglen and Ballagan Burns.Ord.
