Feachan, Feochan, or Feuchan, a sea-loch on the mutual boundary of Kilninver and Kilbride parishes, Argyllshire. Penetrating the land 4¾ miles, first south-eastward, next east-north-eastward, it is 1 mile wide at the entrance, and from 1 furlong to ½ mile higher up; has a depth of 15 fathoms; is flanked by high rocky promontories; receives at its head the Nell, and at Kilninver the Euchar; and at the time of spring tides has the appearance of a wide rapid river.
