Toward Point, a headland in Dunoon parish, Argyllshire, 6¼ miles SSW of Dunoon town, 35/8 W by S of Wemyss Bay, and 33/8 NE of Rothesay. Its lighthouse, standing 56½ feet above high-water, was completed in 1812, and since 1873 has shown a fixed light, flashing every 10 seconds. Near it is a steamboat pier.
