Parish of Rerrick

Rerrick is a coastal parish, which lies in Dumfries and Galloway Council Area, some 5 miles (8 km) east of Kirkcudbright and 8 miles (12 km) south of Castle Douglas in Dumfries and Galloway.

It is located in the old county of Kirkcudbrightshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 80.9 sq. km (31.2 sq. miles). Rerrick has Buittle, Kelton and Kirkcudbright as its neighbouring parishes.
