Parish of Latheron Latheron is a coastal parish, which lies in Highland Council Area, some 12 miles (20 km) northeast of Helmsdale and 19 miles (31 km) southwest of Wick in Highland.It is located in the old county of Caithness, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 485.7 sq. km (187.5 sq. miles).
