Parish of New MacharNew Machar is a parish, which lies in Aberdeenshire Council Area, some 7 miles (12 km) east of Inverurie in Aberdeenshire and 8 miles (13 km) northwest of Aberdeen in Aberdeen City.
It is located in the old county of Aberdeenshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 37.8 sq. km (14.6 sq. miles). New Machar has 6 neighbouring parishes; namely Belhelvie, Dyce, Fintray, Keithhall & Kinkell, Old Machar and Udny.
