Logie-Coldstone is a parish, which lies in Aberdeenshire Council Area, some 18 miles (29 km) west of Banchory and 19 miles (31 km) northeast of Braemar in Aberdeenshire.
It is located in the old county of Aberdeenshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 56.7 sq. km (21.8 sq. miles). Logie-Coldstone has 6 neighbouring parishes; namely Aboyne & Glen Tanar, Coull, Glenmuick Tullich & Glengairn, Strathdon, Tarland and Towie. The boundaries of this parish were modified among significant changes recommended by the Boundary Commissioners after the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1889.
