Parish of RescobieRescobie is a parish, which lies in Angus Council Area, some 3 miles (5 km) east of Forfar and 7 miles (12 km) east of Kirriemuir in Angus.
It is located in the old county of Forfarshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 27.1 sq. km (10.4 sq. miles). Rescobie has 7 neighbouring parishes; namely Aberlemno, Dunnichen, Forfar, Guthrie, Kirkden, Kirriemuir and Oathlaw.
