Parish of Balmerino Balmerino is a small coastal parish, which lies in Fife Council Area, some 4 miles (7 km) southwest of Newport-on-Tay in Fife and 5 miles (8 km) southwest of Dundee in Dundee City.It is located in the old county of Fife, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 13.8 sq. km (5.3 sq. miles).
