Parish of WestrayWestray is an island parish, which lies in Orkney Council Area, some 22 miles (35 km) north of Kirkwall and 26 miles (42 km) northeast of Stromness in Orkney.
It is located in the old county of Orkney, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 47.9 sq. km (18.5 sq. miles).
