Parish of FintryFintry is a parish, which lies in Stirling Council Area, some 7 miles (12 km) north of Kirkintilloch in East Dunbartonshire and 10 miles (16 km) northwest of Cumbernauld in North Lanarkshire.
It is located in the old county of Stirlingshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 56.1 sq. km (21.6 sq. miles). Fintry has 6 neighbouring parishes; namely Balfron, Campsie, Gargunnock, Killearn, Kilsyth and St Ninians.
