Parish of Kilchoman

Kilchoman is a coastal island parish, which lies on the island of Islay in Argyll and Bute Council Area, some 39 miles (63 km) west of Tarbert and 40 miles (65 km) northwest of Campbeltown in Argyll and Bute and includes 2 other small offshore islands.

It is located in the old county of Argyllshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 153.5 sq. km (59.3 sq. miles). Kilchoman lies next to Killarow & Kilmeny parish.
