Parish of SaltounSaltoun is a small parish, which lies in East Lothian Council Area, some 4 miles (7 km) southwest of Haddington and 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Prestonpans in East Lothian.
It is located in the old county of East Lothian, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 14.7 sq. km (5.7 sq. miles). Saltoun has 5 neighbouring parishes; namely Bolton, Gladsmuir, Haddington, Humbie and Pencaitland.
