Parish of Lochwinnoch

Lochwinnoch is a parish, which lies in Renfrewshire Council Area, some 9 miles (14 km) south of Port Glasgow in Inverclyde and 9 miles (14 km) west of Paisley in Renfrewshire.

It is located in the old county of Renfrewshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 80.4 sq. km (31 sq. miles). Lochwinnoch has 7 neighbouring parishes; namely Beith, Kilbarchan, Kilbirnie, Kilmacolm, Largs, Neilston and Paisley.
