Parish of Cambuslang

Cambuslang is a parish, which lies on the River Clyde in South Lanarkshire Council Area, some 3 miles (5 km) north of East Kilbride and 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Hamilton in South Lanarkshire.

It is located in the old county of Lanarkshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 20.8 sq. km (8 sq. miles). Cambuslang has 4 neighbouring parishes; namely Blantyre, Carmunnock, East Kilbride and Rutherglen.
