Parish of CambusnethanCambusnethan is a parish, which lies in North Lanarkshire Council Area, some 4 miles (6 km) north of Carluke and 8 miles (13 km) east of Hamilton in South Lanarkshire.
It is located in the old county of Lanarkshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 67.5 sq. km (26 sq. miles). Cambusnethan has 8 neighbouring parishes; namely Carluke, Carstairs, Dalserf, Dalziel, Hamilton, Shotts, West Calder and Whitburn.
