William Ramsay
(5th Earl of Dalhousie)? - 1710
Soldier and noble. Ramsay succeeded his father as 5th Earl. During the War of the Spanish Succession, he was the senior officer commanding the Scots Guards sent to support Archduke Charles of Austria in his struggle for the crown of Spain (1705). He was killed in Spain in 1710.
