Stand-up comedienne. Born and brought up in Musselburgh (East Lothian), Cameron came to the fore when she won a Channel 4 television So You Think You're Funny award in 1992. She went on to stand-up success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe the following year and has returned to further acclaim regularly since. Her television work has included co-hosting Gaytime TV (1998) for the BBC and the sitcom Rhona (2000), which she wrote. She has appeared regularly on Have I Got News For You also for the BBC, together with So Graham Norton and Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.
