Thomas (Tom) Conti1941 -
Stage, television and film actor. Born in Paisley, Conti trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. His film roles include Reuben, Reuben (1983), for which he received an academy award nomination, Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence (1983), Heavenly Pursuits (1986) and Shirley Valentine (1989).
