Kenneth (Kenny) Hyslop

1951 -

Drummer. Born in Helensburgh. In 1972, Hyslop joined the band Salvation, with Midge Ure (b.1953), which later changed its name to Slik (1974). He went on to play with the Skids.

In 1981, he joined internationally-successful rock band Simple Minds, with Jim Kerr (b.1959), Charlie Burchill (b.1959) and Tony Donald. His time with this band was brief, contributing only to the recording of the powerful song Promised You A Miracle, which reached No. 13 in the British charts (1982).
