Penelope Beaton1886 - 1963
Artist. Beaton studied at the Edinburgh College of Art and joined the staff there in 1919 after briefly teaching at Hamilton Academy. Noted for her watercolours, Beaton painted flowers, harbour scenes and coastal landscapes.
She died in Edinburgh.
