Sean Lamont


1981 -

Rugby internationalist. Born in Perth, but brought up in England, Lamont was educated at King Edward VII school in Melton Mowbray and Sheffield Hallam University. Encouraged into rugby by his step-father, Lamont has played for Rotherham, Glasgow Rugby and Northampton Saints. He gained his first cap for Scotland in 2004.

His younger brother Rory Lamont also played rugby for Scotland.
