Judo champion. Born in Bellshill (North Lanarkshire), the elder sister of Kimberley Renicks (b.1988), the pair were brought up in Coatbridge, where their father ran a judo club. She did well in the World Cups of 2013 and 2014, but went on to win a gold medal in the 52kg event during the Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow in 2014, where her sister also had gold medal-winning success. Renicks now lives in Glasgow.
