Author. Born in Edinburgh and raised in Troon, where he was educated at Marr College, Lunan read English and Philosophy at the University of Glasgow. He is noted as a writer of science-fiction. Lunan managed the project to build the Sighthill Stone Circle in Glasgow (1978-79) and worked as science fiction critic for the Glasgow Herald (1971-85). He is also noted for some extraordinary theories relating to the interpretation of extraterrestrial messages and alien arrivals on earth.
