Robert Henryson1425 - 1508
Poet. School master and notary in Dunfermline, Henryson was the author of a 'Testament of Cresseid' and 'Robene and Makyne', the earliest example of Scottish pastoral poetry. His most noted work was his 'Morall Fabels of Esope'.
