King Arthur

A semi-legendary king of the Britons said to have lived in the sixth century and resisted the Saxons. The fame of Arthur extends from Brittany in France to Cornwall, Wales, the North of England and Scotland. The embellished story of King Arthur passed into literature probably during the 12th and 13th centuries.
