Craig Ferguson

1962 -

Comedian, TV, stage and screen actor. Born Glasgow and brought up in Cumbernauld. Ferguson began as a musician, playing drums and guitar in various rock and roll bands. He continued as a stand-up comedian, appearing in, for example, the BBC TV comedy series Red Dwarf and The Ferguson Theory (1994).

Moving to the USA, Ferguson starred in TV comedy Maybe This Time (1995) and went on to play Nigel Wick in the The Drew Carey Show (from 1996).

Film roles include Modern Vampires (1998), The Big Tease (1999), which he co-produced, and the highly successful Saving Grace, for which he wrote the screenplay.
