Moira Anderson1938 -
Singer. Born in Kirkintilloch in East Dunbartonshire, Anderson was educated at Ayr Academy. She is one of the most popular of Scottish singers having performed on many radio and TV programmes in the UK and toured widely abroad. She regularly appeared with Kenneth McKellar (b.1927) and Andy Stewart (1933-94) on many Scottish Folk Music shows.
