Magnum Centre, TheMagnum Centre, Irvine

A leisure complex, the Magnum Centre is located on the seafront, just east of where the River Irvine enters Irvine Bay, 1¼ miles (2 km) southwest of Irvine (North Ayrshire). Opened in 1976, the complex includes indoor and heated outdoor swimming pools, an ice-rink, a 1200-seat concert and sports hall, a 323-seat theatre and a fitness centre. During the 1980s the Magnum Centre became one of Scotland's top leisure attractions.
