Auchterderran Parish Church

Located in the centre of the former mining village of Auchterderran, records suggest Bishop Fothad gave a church here to the Culdees in the 11th century. The present structure was built on the T-plan in 1789 incorporating parts of an older structure. It was enlarged in 1890, with the interior completely reorganised. The church features a small belfry above the entrance and a slender spire in the centre of the roof.

The burial aisle of the Kininmonth family (dating from 1676) is located in the kirkyard.
