A small bay on the south coast of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Lagavulin Bay is located in front of the distilling settlement of Lagavulin, 2½ miles (4 km) east of Port Ellen. It is approximately 500m / 1640 feet in with, narrowing to 350m / 1150 feet at its entrance, which is protected by a string of rocky islets.
