A pair of low sea stacks at the base of the cliff at South Sutor on the Black Isle, the Sutor Stacks lie 1½ miles (2.5 km) east of Cromarty. Both are occupied by observation posts built during the Second World War as part of the South Sutor defences but subsequently abandoned.
