Great Eastern HotelOriginally built in 1849 as the Duke St. Cotton Mill by Charles Wilson, this building is one of Glasgow's most imposing 19th Century buildings, being five storeys in height and over 60m (200 feet) tall. Its name is rather inaccurate since it has been used as a shelter for Glasgow's homeless men since 1907.
